Why Buy the Baerry Advent Calendar? The Whiteboard Lesson, Written Out
Every year someone asks us the same thing in the comments: is an advent calendar actually worth it, or is it just a pretty box? So this time we skipped the unboxing and held a class. One of our team stood at the office whiteboard with a telescopic pointer, wrote the whole case for the Baerry Magic K-Beauty Advent Calendar in purple marker, and lectured the camera like it was a Monday morning seminar.
The reel moves fast, so here's the lesson slowed down.
Attention, class
The opening shot is the box itself, tucked under one arm like a textbook. The Baerry Magic K-Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 is our first ever K-beauty advent calendar, and it comes in a pink or a blue box.
It's 12 days, 12 doors, and one full-size Korean beauty product behind each. Everything was picked in Seoul. We wanted a calendar you'd actually finish using, not one where half the doors end up in a drawer.
Lesson one is the math
Top of the board says SUPER GOOD VALUE in capital letters, so you know where this is going. If you added up the original prices of the 12 products inside, you'd land at about $246. The calendar is $82.
That's the point she taps the pointer on hardest, and it's fair. It's roughly a third of buying everything separately.
Six dollars and eighty-three cents
Divide $82 by 12 products and you get about $6.83 each. That number made our whole team stop and do the math again on our phones, because it sounds too low for full sizes.
Cheaper than your matcha
This was the line that got the most replies. Per product, the calendar costs less than an iced matcha latte at most cafes near our office. I am not going to stop buying matcha, to be clear. But I did think about it in line this morning.
Bottom of the board, someone also wrote GIRL MATH IS GIRL MATHING, which is the most accurate summary of the whole reel.
Okay, but what's actually inside
Price is nice, but the lesson ends on contents, and that's the right call. It's a full routine: cleansing, skincare and makeup. There's an All Clean Balm, a centella mini kit from PURITO, a glutathione niacinamide sunscreen and matching sheet mask, a PDRN collagen serum, a retinol capsule cream, a green tomato pore ampoule and blackhead clear pads.
Then the fun doors: a collagen lip balm, a gloss, a Dual Cheek, and a set of no-glue lashes. Brands include numbuzin, Sungboon Editor, PURITO and fwee, all sourced from Korea.
The extra credit
The board has a little EXTRA PERKS corner too: super cute packaging, free shipping and zero customs fees. The packaging one is personal for me. My sister keeps the box from every calendar she gets and uses it to store hair ties, so she's already claimed mine.
One thing that isn't on the board: discount codes don't apply to this one, so the price you see is the price.
Class dismissed. If you want to see the doors yourself, the Baerry Magic K-Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 page has every product listed. And if you have a question for next lesson, leave it under the reel.
FAQ
Twelve, and every one of them is full-size. It's a 12-day calendar with one K-beauty product behind each door.
The calendar is $82, so across 12 products it works out to roughly $6.83 each.
No. It covers a full routine, so there's cleansing, skincare and makeup in there, like a cleansing balm, serums, a sunscreen, a lip balm, a cheek color and even lashes.
Esther has been working inside Korean beauty brands for five years—since before K-beauty became the global phenomenon it is today. She’s watched it go from a niche discovery overseas to something everyone wants a piece of, with plenty of launches, viral moments, and overhyped products along the way. She brings that insider perspective to Baerry, along with very ESTP energy, a love for all things cute, and a desk that’s always overflowing with snacks.
