Personally, I find it works best after a shower or bath when my skin is a bit softer and slightly damp. It seems to dissolve and come out more easily then. Since it comes with a tool for extraction, I don't use cotton swabs."

"Once I started using these nose packs, I just kept ordering more, haha. I have large pores and a lot of sebum, and I used to avoid the peel-off types because they were too harsh. But now, these dissolve the sebum without irritation, which is fantastic. I especially love that it comes with a pore-tightening pack that you can apply right after removing the sebum. I usually soften the sebum, quickly remove it with a blackhead remover, and finish up with the included cotton swab. For those like me with large pores, nose packs are important, but cleansing is even more crucial. Make sure to use a pore brush during cleansing; it really reduces sebum. Initially, I used the nose pack every weekend, but with thorough cleansing, I now only need it every 2-3 weeks."
