I cycle to work, and from about October on the wind does a number on my lips. By November there's a balm in every coat pocket. Over the past few weeks I've been testing a batch of Korean lip balms from the Baerry shelf, and these eight are the ones I'd actually tell a friend about.

Some are plain moisture, some leave a tint, a couple are really overnight treatments. I've tried to say which is which.

Shiny, and a warning

The veganize Collagen Lip Glass Balm comes in twelve crystal-clear shades, from muted tones to pinks to reds, with a juicy glass shine. The texture is buttery and melts on without feeling sticky.

The warning: it doesn't retract. I twisted up way too much the first time and wasted a chunk. Dispense about 1mm at a time and you're fine.

The serum I didn't think I needed

PDRN Lip Serum (10ml) by Anua at Baerry — PDRN Lip Serum (10ml)

A lip serum sounded excessive to me until I tried the Anua PDRN Lip Serum. It's fresh and non-sticky, and my chapped, rough patches felt smoother after the first use. The hydration also makes lips look a bit fuller.
